The deadline to submit representations regarding Gail's' licensing application for an outdoor seating area at its Surbiton bakery is tomorrow (Tuesday, 2 December).

The pavement licence application was submitted to Kingston Council and requests permission to have two tables, four chairs, and a bench on the pavement areas to the front and side of the shopfront for the purpose of consuming food or drink.

This outdoor seating area, if approved, would operate from 7am – 7pm seven days a week.

Gail's previously submitted an application to have an even larger outdoor seating area, but this was rejected.

Gail's officially opened its Surbiton branch, which is located in the site of the former Lloyds Bank on Claremont Road, on Thursday, 20 November.

Residents can submit feedback on the licensing application here.
