Every Thursday we round up all the eye-catching events occurring in your area over the weekend.

All weekend 

The Origin of the Faeces: Poo from the Zoo, FUSEBOX 2 Bucklands Wharf, 11am-6pm 

A weird and wonderful display of the relationship between animals and humans. Against a backdrop of climate destruction, this exhibition reminds us of what we stand to lose and what we should celebrate most from the world around us. 

Beer Festival, The Antelope, All weekend 

With 30 kegs, 20 casks, 15 ciders AND gin & rum bar- what's not to like about a pub festival? We're talking live music and great food, all in the autumnal backdrop of this traditional pub. 

Friday 27 October 

Vampire Noir Party, The Surbitonian Vine, 7pm-12am 

Join Surbiton's newest café bar for a spooktacular Halloween weekend bash. Costume dress is encouraged and it's £50 bar tab for the best dressed. Keep an eye-out for the Halloween-inspired cocktails! 

Saturday 28 October 

Black History Month Kingston Makers Market, Ancient Market Place, 10am-4pm 

This market supports Black-owned businesses. Discover and buy all kinds of art pieces including ceramics, jewellery, postcards, and more. Come along to support local artists' work and find unique crafts and gift you won't find anywhere else! Including pieces by students from the Kingston School of Art and other local talented craftspeople. 

Charity Concert for Kingston Hospital, All Saints Church Market Place, 2pm-3pm 

Korean Culture and Arts UK Presents the Charity Concert, saying thank you to Kingston Hospital (Fundraising for NHS). Juni was born 16 years ago as a 700g premature baby at Kingston Hospital. He couldn't be here without the constant help from the Kingston Hospital. He still has poor hearing. But he fought to survive and become a fabulous musician. Now Juni and his family like to play music to say thanks to the Kingston Hospital. 

Sunday 29 October 

Vinyasa Yoga and Breathwork Workshop, Gibbon Road, 3pm-5pm 

Fancy exploring breathwork and yoga? Breathwork is about using your breath to become present and to influence how you feel. This workshop will explore different breathwork practices, move through a flowing yoga practice, and include time for tea, treats and connection. 

Sunday Night Quiz, The Albion, 7:30pm 

Get your thinking caps on and sharpen your competitive streak with a pub quiz! 1st prize is a £50 tab voucher with rollover jackpot questions. Food served until 10pm.
