FRIDAY NIGHT: Live at the Rose with Ardal O'Hanlon

Join us for the latest in our series of live comedy at the Rose, as we bring you the very best line-ups with some of your favourite stars to light up your January.

Ardal O'Hanlon is the much loved star of Father Ted and Death in Paradise, and a multi award-winning stand-up who plays to sell-out audiences around the globe.

With her infectious laugh and high energy, Rosie Jones has quickly become one of the country's most popular comics. A star of The Last Leg and her own show Trip Hazard, her many other TV appearances include Live at the Apollo, QI and 8 Out of 10 Cats.

Event starts at 8pm and tickets cost £22.00. It is strictly 14+ and there is likely to be swearing and adult content.

SATURDAY NIGHT: Big Mama's Door at Ram Jam Records

London's most entertaining blues, jazz & soul revue bring their show back to Ram Jam Records…

Widely acclaimed by their peers and audiences as the act to watch. Big Mama's Door play sell out shows of eclectic covers and exciting originals.

Led by one of the great female vocalists on the scene today (or any day) and backed by a tight band steeped in the blues, jazz & soul of iconic labels such as Chess, Blue Note and Atlantic records.

Doors from 7pm THURSDAY and SATURDAY NIGHTS: The Lockdown Beauty at the cornerHOUSE theatre, Surbiton The cornerHOUSE panto is back in January 2022! After being forced to take a year off because of Covid restrictions, panto returns to the cornerHOUSE with The Lockdown Beauty a familiar fairy tale with a pandemic twist. The show, written by Phil Cooper, is new, with original songs, a new set, some familiar faces in the cast (and, no doubt, some familiar jokes!). Covid means that there will be some changes to the 'norm'. Audience sizes will be restricted to allow for social distancing and no children will be in the show this time. However, the panto remains as family-friendly as ever and we look forward to welcoming you to this long-standing, new-year tradition. The Lockdown Beauty is SOLD OUT on all nights except Thursday 27 and Saturday 29 January. Shows start at 7.45pm and tickets cost £11 with £9 concessions.
