Two new COVID test sites are opening in Kingston today.

The sites will be at The Kingston Academy on Richmond Road with another at Richard Challoner School in New Malden.

The purpose of these test sites will be for asymptomatic key workers to be regularly tested.

The tests offered at these sites will have rapid turnaround results.

It is though that up to one in three people who have COVID may not have any symptoms.

Leader of Kingston Council Caroline Kerr said: "Some good news! We're opening 2 new test sites today offering rapid results. They're for frontline workers without symptoms.

"We're lucky to have such great partners - you make Kingston such a brilliant place to live."
