Surbiton coffee and brunch house chain opens new branch in Kingston town centre

A Surbiton coffee and brunch house has opened a new branch in Kingston town centre.
ICON opened its Kingston branch, located on Clarence Street, next to The Rex, last Wednesday (8 July)
Owner Johnny Tiddy opened the first branch on Surbiton's Claremont Road in September 2024 when he rebranded the bar Surbitonian Vine into ICON.
The second branch, on Ewell Road, first opened in December last year when it replaced the Surbitonian Grind cafe, also under Tiddy's ownership.

The new ICON serves coffees, matcha, smoothies, acai bowls, and more.
Speaking about the new Kingston branch, Tiddy told Nub News: "I've always wanted to bring the ICON family to Kingston and when the opportunity arose at The Rex the timing felt right.
"Hospitality is a real struggle at the minute and rather than opening "another coffee shop" we've tried to create a venue that compliments our two sister locations whilst bringing a unique product offering that Kingston was missing.
"Açai bowls made to order with fresh fruit, matcha in travel cans, health boosting smoothies & our signature coffee that's been trusted for over five years."
And as a special thank you, Tiddy is offering Nub News readers a special 20 per cent off Monday to Friday next week - all you have to do is show this article upon purchase.
