Met Police officers from Richmond Park have confirmed no arrests were made after a car crashed into a tree last week.

The vehicle, a blue Honda, left a carriageway and collided with a tree in Richmond Park on Tuesday, 8 October.

A South West Met Police spokesperson told Richmond Nub News that no injuries occurred to driver or anyone else and that no arrests were made.

They said: "There were no life threatening or life changing injuries. No other persons or vehicles were involved.

"The Park was not closed and nor was the road. There was temporary obstruction in the road which has now been cleared.

"No arrests have been made, however the driver was reported by police for driving without due care and attention and no insurance.

"We would advise all drivers to stick to the speed limit of 20mph."
