Hey Colossus - All Ages Matinee Show
Sunday 13, October, The Fighting Cocks, doors open 7.30pm.
Hey Colossus are an English rock band formed in 2003. The band is characterised by its heavy sound, DIY ethic, prolific output, and stylistic experimentation. Their debut EP, Hey Colossus Hates You, arrived in 2004; they quickly followed with II the next year. Project: Death arrived in 2007 and the band continued their prolific output with an almost yearly release schedule into 2011. A compilation of the band's first decade of work, Dedicated to Uri Klanger (2003-2013), was issued in 2013, the same year they released Cuckoo Live Life Like Cuckoo. 2015 saw the release of a pair of LPs: In Black and Gold and Radio Static High. By 2017, the group was rounded out by Paul Sykes (vocals/keys), Timothy Farthing (vocals/guitar), Rhys Llewellyn (drums), and Roo Farthing (guitar/keys). They released The Guillotine (Rocket Recordings) that same year.
