Our NHS staff need our help now more than ever.

That's why here at Kingston Nub News we are happy to support the Kingston Hospital Charity's 'Let's Fuel the Fight campaign.

Here is a bit about the campaign:

"Thanks to generous donors, in recent weeks Kingston Hospital Charity has been funding a nutritious hot meal, each night for these workers, cooked by local restaurants.

"Not only does this support the vital front line team, it also helps to support the restaurants themselves. But obviously, the funds are limited.

"Its gone really well so far. Hospital staff have been hugely grateful for this demonstration of thanks and its been a real morale booster.

"But the current arrangement comes to an end on Friday 22nd January, and the pressures from the pandemic on intensive care are likely to continue. We want your help to fund these meals up until the end of February."

Here is what your donations can do:

- A donation of £6 will help to provide ONE hot meal for ONE front line night worker, and generate some revenue for local restaurants.

- A donation of £40 will help to provide ONE hot meal for ONE front line night worker for a WEEK, and generate some revenue for local restaurants.

- A donation of £250 will help to provide ONE hot meal for ONE front line night worker for 6 WEEKS, and generate some revenue for local restaurants.

The initial target donation is £19,000 and already £1600 has been raised.
