Kingston's new sculpture trail has finally launched.

The public art trail stretches from Canbury Gardens to Kingston marketplace and will be in place for 3 months.

The trail features 7 new artworks by artists from around the UK.

People are being invited to vote for their favourite, which will then become a permanent sculpture in Kingston.

Kingston First, the town's business improvement district, teamed up with the Canbury Community Trust, Kingston Council, Kingston First and Kingston University to organise the trail.

Kirsten Henly, CEO of Kingston First said: "We wanted to do something that would encourage people to explore the centre in a different way."

"We were looking for great works that fit with the ambience and atmosphere of Kingston."
