Morning everyone, we're back with the latest Kingston weather and traffic news for daily our breakfast briefing.

Sunrise and weather

Like most of this week we'll have a fairly sunny morning but changing to cloudy by lunchtime & through the afternoon. It's due to be a warmer than the last few days with the Met Office predicting highs of 17° from 2-4pm. We'll be back tomorrow with weather & the outlook for the weekend.

Traffic and travel news

Severe delays of 18 minutes on A308 Hampton Court Road Eastbound this morning, avoid if you can. Heavy traffic also in Hampton town centre.

Also some queueing at the bridge to Kingston from Hampton Wick, but this is easing. The AA report delays of two minutes and delays easing on A308 Hampton Court Road Eastbound between A308 and A310 High Street.

Roadworks in Tolworth, New Malden, Worcester Park and West Molesey still in place.

Event of the day

Comedy at The Rose Theatre

Local artist Kate Howe opens up her studio to the community tonight with a gin bar, jazz and space to chill out and chat. A place for the community to gather and chat about art in the studio's open garden space. Runs from 5-7.30pm, free to attend.!
