The CISI's Financial Planning Awards 2021 were held on Tuesday 5 October to conclude the first day of the Financial Planning Conference 2021.

Holland Hahn & Wills partner Amyr was thrilled to be asked to present the awards, and was excited to meet and congratulate the winners.

The awards were held in recognition of the outstanding achievement of individuals and firms across the UK financial planning professions.

The awards ranged from Accredited Financial Planning Firm of the year, a highly prestigious award recognising the impact on the financial planning profession over the previous 12 months, to the awards for notable individuals, both in the CPF™ field and also the Paraplanning world.

CFP™ professionals have already proven that they have the knowledge, skills and competence needed to deliver a real financial planning service.

The awards seek to recognise the professionals who can demonstrate the best combination of strong technical knowledge along with outstanding financial planning skills.

The newly revamped Certified Financial Planner pathway was the "crowning success" for the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) last year, according to Amyr who is chairman of its financial planning forum committee.

Amyr said the revamp will give participants a more "comprehensive grounding" in financial planning.

As part of his role as chairman of the CISI Financial Planning Forum Committee, Amyr has said that one of the CISI's main goals for 2021 is to expand existing interest in the certified financial planner pathway and encourage others to join the global financial planning movement.

The CISI closely supports wealth managers and financial advisers who want to expand their knowledge, broaden their portfolio of financial planning services, and differentiate themselves from the competition.
