IN PICTURES: Kingston School of Art showcases next generation of creative innovators at annual Degree Show

Today (Friday, 13 June) marked the last day of Kingston School of Art's (KSA) annual degree show.

The show, which first opened in Kingston's Knight's Park campus last Saturday (7 June), showcased a wide variety of work from the schools of Art, Design, and Creative and Cultural Industries.

There were various practices involved in the show, including:

  • Architecture & Landscape
  • Illustration Animation
  • Graphic Design
  • Filmmaking
  • Product & Furniture Design
  • Fine Art
  • Photography
  • Interior Design
  • Fashion
  • Fashion Promotion & Communication

Among the works showcased were winners of the Makerversity Awards, including Nico Miedin's Costume Design and Kitty Wynne-Mellor's Activity Books for Young Cooks.

Visiting the show today was Joseph Liu, whose piece Ercol was on display.

Speaking about the piece, Liu said: The piece was handcrafted, and I added my own elements to it.

"It's a complimentary piece – I don't want it to be in the spotlight, but I want it to stand on its own."
