Three people taken to hospital after a road traffic collision on Surbiton’s High Street

Three people were taken to hospital yesterday afternoon (Thursday, 12 June) following a traffic collision.

This includes the driver, a 35-year-old man, and two pedestrians in their 70s.

Police, the London Fire Brigade, and the London Ambulance service all attended the scene after 3pm on Thursday.

Police tape surrounded the opening to Crummock Chase nest to The Elm Tree pub.

A Met Police spokesperson said: "On Thursday, 12 June at 15:19hrs police were called to reports of a road traffic collision between a vehicle and two pedestrians on Victoria Road, Surbiton.

"Officers attended the scene alongside the London Fire Brigade and the London Ambulance Service.

"Paramedics treated the driver, a 35-year-old man, and two pedestrians in their 70s at the scene. All three were transported to hospital but no injuries are believed to be life threatening or life changing.

"No arrests have been made at this stage and enquiries continue."
