American fast-food chain, Popeyes®, is set to expand its presence in South West London with the launch of its Kingston restaurant next week.

Located at 65 – 67 Clarence Street, the new restaurant will open at 11am on Friday, 10 July.

Marking its first opening in the area, Popeyes® will be pulling out all the stops, showcasing its New Orleans hospitality with launch day giveaways for locals.

On opening day, the first three customers queuing win a prize of free Chicken Sandwiches for an entire year. Additionally, the first 50 customers in the queue will be treated to exclusive Popeyes® merchandise, and the first 100 will bag a free Chicken Sandwich.

According to Popeyes®, the chain has become known for its round-the-block queues on opening day across the UK, with fans regularly queuing more than 24 hours to be the first to sample the brand's "famous" Shatter Cunch.

To be part of the action at Kingston, the team is advising hungry customers to arrive early to avoid missing out.

With dine-in and speedy takeaway options available, fried chicken fans will soon be able to enjoy Popeyes® favourites like the iconic Popeyes Chicken Sandwich, Signature Wraps and the Saucin' Boneless & Hot Wings range as well as Hand Spun Shakes.

Guests visiting the new Kingston restaurant from opening day will also be among the first to enjoy Popeyes® latest limited time menu, Cajun Crunch.

Inspired by the bold flavours of New Orleans, the range turns up the volume with a deeper, punchier take on the brand's iconic Shatter Crunch, featuring the new Cajun Crunch Sandwich, Wrap and Superstack, alongside Cajun Citrus Wings and Boneless, freshly made lemonades and the indulgent Mud Pie Whipz dessert.

Popeyes® says that all of its chicken "is marinated for 12 hours in its signature blend of bold Louisiana seasoning, then hand-breaded and battered to deliver that world-famous 'Shatter-Crunch'".
