An American fast-food restaurant chain is set to open a new branch in Kingston.

Popeyes will open its new Kingston store in the site of the former LEON inbetween the Body Shop and Schuh on Clarnece Street, which first opened in January 2022.

Construction on the new restaurant has started and signs on the building say that the chain is hiring staff for the new branch.

Currently, the closest Popeyes to Kingston is in nearby Richmond.
