More bus strikes are set to hit London today and many routes in Kingston will be affected.

Drivers employed by London United, a subsidiary of RATP group, are striking over cuts to pay and changes to their contracts.

Another day of strikes is planned for Thursday 15 April next week.

Transport for London have advised bus users to allow more time for their journey and travel at quieter times of day on strike days.

"Where possible, consider walking or cycling to local destinations, or other transport alternatives. Santander cycles can be hired in Putney and Hammersmith for journeys into central London" they said.

They also advise checking bus status updates for the latest information on your bus route.

Services will return to normal tomorrow.

Here is the full list of Kingston routes affected today.

- Regular buses: 65, 71, 111, 216, 371, 411, 418, 465, K1, K2, K3, K4 and K5 buses.
- School, night, and 24-hour buses: 671, N65, 281, 111, 85
