More of a 'runaway train to the graveyard' than the 'bleed your heart out on the page' type of emo; one way to sum up the sound of Sussex & Surrey band Bats Bats Bats. Their self-released singles 'Darkness', 'Ghosts', 'Death Letters' and now 'Dead & Gone' saw a welcome return to hardcore sensibilities within the realm of the now re-popularised emo genre.
