Monthly Wellbeing Day (RBKares)
Friday 7 October, Queen Mary Hall, 11am - 2pm.

All welcome at this monthly Wellbeing Day drop-in event, held on the first Friday of every month at Queen Mary Hall in Norbiton's Cambridge Gardens (on the Kingston Road).
Organised by local charity RBKares and partners, this popular event brings together a wide range of local services to support your physical, financial, mental and digital health. These range from benefits support to quit smoking advice, health checks to dental treatment, emotional support to fuel vouchers, haircuts to footcare and bike repairs to clothes, toiletries and SIM cards. Attendees can also enjoy a light lunch, with soup, bread, cake and hot drinks.

Tool Shed - A tribute to Tool
Friday 3 October, The Fighting Cocks, Doors Open: 7.30pm.

The musicianship, experimentation and intensity of Tool's music has garnered the band a legendary status over the past 30+ years. From the primal energy of Opiate & Undertow to the mind-bending progressive passages of Fear Inoculum Tool have traversed an epic path across the world of rock music. Formed in Merseyside, UK, Tool Shed seek to capture the essence of the full Tool arena show on a smaller scale. With bright psychedelic visuals and a huge sound, the Tool Shed live experience is not one to be missed.
Since setting out in 2018, Tool Shed have been strengthening their show with every tour and they are now back on the road with a revamped set spanning the entire Tool discography. Expect big hitters, deep cuts, everything in between and beyond.

Repair Cafe Kingston
Saturday 4 October, Kingston LIbrary, 10.30am - 1pm.

Transition Town Kingston's Repair Café will be back in Kingston Library's community room on the first Saturday morning of the month, helping you to save money and keep repairable stuff out of the waste system. Visitors can bring all sorts of broken items to fix on the spot with the help of our skilful volunteer repairers and refreshments while you wait, watch and learn how to repair, or even sharpen, your items.
Additionally and ongoing, we will be helping to keep laptops out of the waste system by offering help with upgrading them in preparation for the demise of Windows 10 support.

Daytime Disco for Grownups!
Saturday 4 October, Teddington Constitutional Club, 1pm - 6pm.

THE BEST "NIGHT" OUT ... BUT DURING THE DAYTIME!!! FED UP WITH SACRIFICING YOUR SUNDAYS? You CAN go out for a boogie and maybe a few drinks, and still be home in time for dinner (or go on somewhere else)!
Come along to Teddington Constitutional Club where "Disco Sue" and Markus will be playing the very best of 60's, 70's and 80's party music on old-school vinyl. Strut your stuff on the dance floor, or just be a wallflower and tap your feet to the great music.
