London Fire Brigade tackles fire at Heathrow Airport

Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire in a multi-storey car park at Heathrow Airport yesterday morning (Wednesday, 1 October).
A diesel car on level one was destroyed by fire and two adjacent vehicles sustained minor damage. There were no reports of any injuries.
London Fire Brigade's Control Officers took the first of eight calls to the fire at 9.04am and sent crews from Heathrow, Hayes and Feltham fire stations to the scene. The fire was under control by 10.06am.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Heathrow Airport said: "Earlier this morning our teams responded to a small vehicle fire in the Multi Storey Car Park for Terminal 3.
"The fire was quickly extinguished. The car park is temporarily closed, which may cause some congestion on surrounding roads. We apologise to passengers for any inconvenience."
Nub News has contacted London Fire Brigade and Met Police for comment.
