Family-Friendly summer bike ride

Kingston Cycling Club is hosting a family-friendly bike ride this weekend (Image supplied)

Celebrate Bike Week and discover new routes on Sunday 14 June 2026 by joining Kingston Cycling Campaign's confidence-boosting summer ride!

Designed with all ages and cycling abilities in mind, our family-friendly 6.5 mile adventure will start from Latchmere Recreation Ground (meeting near the children's playground / café) before exploring North Kingston's cycle-friendly routes. With marshals keeping everyone safe during the easy-paced outing, we'll make the most of the summer sunshine as we seek out some of the area's most scenic spots, from the Thames towpath to Richmond Park.

The confidence-building event is organised with the support of Full Cycle Community Bike Project, whose volunteers will be on hand to help with some basic Dr Bike-style TLC before and after the event, plus Friends of Latchmere Recreation Ground, who will be helping with bike security marking.
