Surbiton Festival 2025

Saturday 27 September, Surbiton, 10am - 5pm.

Surbiton's biggest free community event returns on Saturday 27th September 2025.

The ever-popular midday parade, featuring local community and dance groups, marching bands, and Police and Army vehicles and classic cars proceeds up St Andrews Road and Victoria Road ending in Claremont Gardens, which again will be brimming with family-friendly games, stalls, entertainment, including a Teddy Bear's picnic, Punch & Judy show, all courtesy of Glenmore House.Also in Claremont Gardens will be a performance stage, with folk and dance groups.

There is another live music stage in St Andrews Square, where rock and pop bands will be performing throughout the day.

The station forecourt will host marching bands.

There will be more than 100 craft and commercial stalls all along St Andrews Road and Victoria Road.

Pottery - Saturday Studio Session

Saturday 27 September, Kingston College Creative Industries Centre, 9am - 1pm.

This course is designed for anyone wanting to explore their creativity with pottery further in our open studio session. A perfect follow on to our weeknight Pottery Studio Sessions, this course offers 1/2 day weekend workshop access to continue with your own ceramic creations.

Over 3-weeks you will have the opportunity to work exclusively on your own projects within our shared ceramics studio. These 1/2 day sessions provide you with the freedom to make independently with access to our equipment and materials, including clay, glazes and oxides to get you started on moderately sized makes.

Please note that this is an untutored studio session. Wheel access will be unavailable due to concurrent wheel throwing session within the workshop.

Join Us and Jam!

Join us for jam making with instructions and learn as we go along, or just help us make as much jam as we can together for hampers for others! We'll also have "jamming out" going on at the same time in our premier music rehearsal room the "Connect" studio! Welcoming everything from music to poetry, come and let your creative side shine. Join us for one or both aspects.

If you have fruit produce or jam jars you'd like to contribute to help make more jam, please drop by our warehouse during our open hours [12-7pm Weekdays, or 2-6pm Saturdays].
