Absolute Bowie - On This Day 1972

To celebrate exactly 50 years since the iconic rock legend David Bowie took to the stage on 6 May 1972 at the then Kingston Polytechnic, for what became a seminal gig for fans, the UKs 'Best Tribute Band' and 'Best Bowie' act, would like to come and meet you and they might just blow your mind...

With an electrifying performance from their main Starman, and theatrical mid-set costume ch-ch-ch-anges, Absolute Bowie will take you on a musical journey through the greatest hits of David Bowie with their huge stage show. The band will leave you wanting more from the most genuine David Bowie tribute out there.

The band have listened to fans and evolved the show's setlist to really give an all-killer performance and no Bowie fan is left out. All of the Starman's greatest hits are performed plus the band perform tracks from the albums David Bowie, Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars, Heroes, Aladdin Sane, Hunky Dory, Let's Dance and Young Americans, through to the hits of later albums.

Tickets are on sale for £25 with the night running from 8pm - 11pm.

Children's book signing - Meet the author Adam D. Searle

Children's author Adam D. Searle will be doing a book signing at Parade's End Books on 406 Richmond Road this Saturday from 10.30am.

Adam, who is dyslexic, has written six books including The Big & Little Monster and Goodbye Mother Bear which was featured in the Daily Express.

Signature's May Fair at Coombe Hill Manor

Come and join Coombe Hill Manor for their annual May Fair in aid of the Alzheimer's Society. 

In their beautiful garden visitors will be able to enjoy a wonderful array of light bites to relish, amusing games, stalls and activities from 11-3pm.

All proceeds raised will be donated to the Alzheimer's Society, the UK's leading dementia charity campaigning for change, funding research to find a cure and continuing to support people living with dementia today.

The Big Comedy Showcase in aid of Momentum Children's Charity

Momentum Children's Charity returns to present The Big Comedy Showcase hosted for the night by Erich McElroy (BBC's Breaking the News). 

Special guests include Maisie AdamDane BaptiseEsther Manito and Ivo Graham plus other secret guests! A not to be missed one-night-only of incredible comedy - for an incredible cause. 

Momentum Children's Charity supports children with cancer and life-changing conditions - and their families - through a unique support programme offered at home and in local hospitals.
