A burnt-out vehicle blocking Kingston Road near Wellington Crescent is going to be removed, according to Councillor James Giles, leader of Kingston Independent Residents Group (KIRG).

Council officers have inspected the vehicle and contractors have been instructed to clear it from the road as soon as possible with the hope that it will happen today (Friday, 25 September).

The owner of the vehicle will also be contacted.

Cllr Giles said: "Thank you for your patience whilst this is dealt with, I know it is impacting the traffic."
