9 to 5 the Musical at Kingston's Arthur Cotterell Theatre

Mayhem Theatre Company are excited to bring Dolly Parton's smash-hit musical '9 to 5' to Kingston-Upon-Thames this October!

Based on the iconic movie, and featuring an Oscar-nominated score written by the Queen of Country herself, this tongue-in-cheek tale of kidnapping and girl power tells the hilarious story of three workmates pushed to boiling point by their sexist boss.

'9 to 5: the Musical' will run at the Arthur Cotterell Theatre from 26th-29th October.

Wednesday, October 26 - Sunday, October 30

Dinosaur World Live at the Rose Theatre

Dare to experience the dangers and delights of Dinosaur World Live in this roarsome interactive show for all the family.

Grab your compass and join our intrepid explorer across uncharted territories to discover a pre-historic world of astonishing (and remarkably life-like) dinosaurs. Meet a host of impressive creatures, including every child's favourite flesh-eating giant, the Tyrannosaurus Rex, a TriceratopsGiraffatitanMicroraptor and Segnosaurus!

A special meet and greet after the show offers all our brave explorers the chance to make a new dinosaur friend.

Don't miss this entertaining and mind-expanding jurassic adventure, live on stage.

Friday night comedy at the Grey Horse

Welcome to the home of Kingston's original and longest running comedy night. 

A night of irresistible improv comedy from some of London's finest players. Kickstart the weekend with a razor-sharp, spontaneous, brand new and never-to-be-seen-again show that will leave you saying, like after ALL the best nights out, "you really had to be there…"

You'll be asked for suggestions which will be turned into unforgettable scenes, characters, and songs, all made up right there on the spot. Had a particularly eventful night out recently? They might just ask you about it…

Kingston Makers Market

Not My Beautiful House will be hosting its monthly Makers Market in the Ancient Market House, selling all kinds of art pieces like ceramics, jewellery, postcards, and more. Come along to support local artists' work and find unique crafts you won't find elsewhere! 

Local businesses taking part include Honey Bunny's Emporium with vegan, cruelty-free candles, Tatupeor's illustrations, Holly's Rings, Tolerado Homeware, Just a Girl Who Creates, unique hand-stitched jewellery by La Ori, Volantis Art & Craft, Nephthys Illustrated, Catharsis Arts, Art By Caz Art, Michaela Salvo and much more. Plus, we'll be surrounded by the best food stalls in Kingston - what more can you ask for?

20% of all sales made at the market will go to Kingston University's Student Union. The seller will keep 80%

All-Day and Half-Day life drawing workshop at Cass Art

Brush up your skills and join Cass Art Kingston in a life drawing session with artist Anna!

Anna, an artist and workshop facilitator with experience of over 10 years, will be sharing her tips and tricks on how to perfect your drawing skills through a series of experiments, including short & long poses by a professional model and exploring traditional and contemporary ways of depicting the human form.

This friendly and creative session of life drawing will give you an opportunity to socialise with other artists, as well as get personal guidance from an experienced workshop facilitator.

The ticket is £45, which will include board & easels, charcoals, chalks, pastels, woodies, inks and pencils - all you need is your own sketchbook/paper.
