The Gruffalo Live on Stage at the Rose Theatre

A mouse took a stroll through the deep dark wood...

Join Mouse on a daring adventure through the deep, dark wood in Tall Stories' magical, musical adaptation of the classic picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler.

Searching for hazelnuts, Mouse meets the cunning Fox, the eccentric old Owl and the high-spirited Snake. Will the story of the terrifying Gruffalo save Mouse from ending up as dinner for these hungry woodland creatures? After all, there's no such thing as a Gruffalo – is there?

Songs, laughs and monstrous fun for children aged 3 and up and their grown-ups, in the much-loved show that's toured Britain and the world!

LEGO Make and Take at The Entertainer

Head on down to The Entertainer in-store on Saturday 3rd September from 11 am to take part in their free Lego Make and Take! It's a great opportunity to let your kids get creative, as well as be able to take their very own mini Lego set home!

Kingston Carnival 2022

Locals will be pleased to hear that Kingston Carnival will be back in full swing this year! Organised by Kingston Racial Equalities Council (KREC), Kingston Carnival brings together different local communities to experience a range of music & culture, and food, in a family-friendly atmosphere.

The procession starts at 12pm and makes its way along High Street, Eden Street, Clarence Street, and Church Street, finishing at the Ancient Market Place for 1pm. 

Join the parade which will be taking place throughout town, The carnival events take place in Market Place, High St, Memorial Gardens, All Saints Church, and the Rose Theatre.

There will also be music from across the world: Reggae, Soca, Bangra, Jazz, and Funk in the Market Place.

Having a crack in Kingston at The Grey Horse

Welcome to the home of Kingston's original and longest running comedy night.

On the first Sunday of every month, The Grey Horse presents 'Having a Crack', the hand-picked selection of the newest comics out here.

Occasionally there are experienced acts trying out new material as well, so either way, what better way to conclude your weekend with a barrel of laughs.

Easy into the week the right way!
