Charity Cabaret Night @ The Beech House – Thursday, 6 June
If cabaret is more your thing, join Aspects Production at Beech House over in Hampton Hill for an evening of 'elegance and melody' watching The Piaf Story.
Proceeds from the three-course dinner will help support Hampton Hill Theatre Charity in its 'ongoing mission to inspire, entertain, and enrich our community'.
Doors open at 6:30pm for a 7pm start. Tickets are £55, and include the meal and show.
Kate Howe Open Studio @ RuptureXIBIT – until Sunday, 9 June
Come experience Kate Howe's emerging body of work at RuptureXIBIT's studio with this rare opportunity to look inside the artist's practice.
Join in a conversation with Howe followed by an intimate tour of their work and live music at an additional private view event on Saturday 8 June – RSVP required.
Howe will also be previewing the work which formed their Ph.D Research proposal: "Collecting Rape: Collation, Curation and Response to every item in the Victoria and Albert Museum and Archives that takes Rape as its subject," which they are undertaking at Leeds University.
Open studios are open from 11am to 6pm daily, while the private view event on 8 June will run between 6pm and 9pm.
Future of Work Summit @ Kingston University – Friday, 7 June
Kingston Chamber of Commerce is hosting a summit it says is "dedicated to providing educational insights, networking opportunities and supportive and inspiring business-related seminars".
Business owners, partners, sole traders, and freelancers will be coming together with those eager to delve into discussions surrounding business, varied industries, emerging developments, and trends.
Kingston Chamber of Commerce says: "Whether they're a successful entrepreneur, a student, or simply interested in the evolving landscape of work, this summit is for them."
The summit, held at Kingston University Business School on Friday 7 June, will start with networking and refreshments from 8am, and will close at 2:45pm.
