Two arrested after man assaulted and sustained facial injuries on Castle Street

A man has been assaulted and sustained facial injuries on Castle Street in Kingston in the early hours of Sunday (7 January) morning.

Police were called to an assault at 4:17am, where they discovered a man had sustained injuries to the face.

Two males were located nearby and arrested for Grievous Bodily Harm (GBH). 

The man was taken to a local hospital with non- life threatening or life changing injuries. 

A crime scene was put in place which has now been closed.

The investigation is currently ongoing.
