The Community Brain’s Mini Day to return to Surbiton this weekend

The Community Brain's (TCB) Mini Day is returning to Surbiton this Saturday, 17 May.
It will run from 11am – 5pm on Hollyfield Road.
Mini day celebrates the "ingenuity of John Cooper, the triumph of the Mini Cooper at the Monte Carlo Rally of '65, and wider stories of innovation and cutting-edge design in Surbiton".
The day will feature:
- Over 150 Minis through the ages
- Live music programmed by The Basement Door
- Tours of the garage where John Cooper was based
- Screenings of The Italian Job
- Food and Drink
- A 'Mini Monte' drive through the streets of Kingston
- Vintage London bus
There will also be the opportunity to book a free tour with Chris Dawson and learn more about John Cooper and his days in Surbiton.
Additionally, the offices will be opened for the day so you can explore the spaces where many ideas were sparked in the '60s.
TCB asks that attendees of the event "come dressed in your best 60's fashion".
