On Monday 21 October, Rosa's Thai will open the doors to its Kingston restaurant.

However, to celebrate the opening, the traditional Thai restaurant is offering 50% off food during its soft launch from yesterday, Monday 7 October to Sunday 20 October.

Rosa's Thai was co-founded by Saiphin and Alex Moore, who brought dishes from Saiphin's native Thailand to London when they opened a market stall on Brick Lane back in 2007.

A year later they took over 'Rosa's Cafe' in Spitalfields, a traditional east London cafe just around the corner from the stall, and opened the first Rosa's Thai restaurant - keeping the 'Rosa's' name because they couldn't afford to change the sign.

Now, over 16 years later, Rosa's Thai is known for bringing signature Thai hospitality and fresh, vibrant cooking to neighbourhoods across the UK.

The menu at Rosa's Thai Kingston offers authentically Thai dishes made to co-founder Saiphin's time-honoured recipes using the best of Thai ingredients, including pad Thai noodles from a 3rd generation family business and curry pastes from a husband-and-wife team in Huai Yod.

Guests can enjoy familiar classic Thai dishes, including red, green and massaman curries, pad Thai, spring rolls, chicken satay and papaya salad, or try something new with a Rosa's signature, from 'Pad Makhuea' stir-fried aubergine to spicy drunken noodles and warming soups.

The Rosa's Thai menu includes an extensive selection of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free dishes, and spice levels range from 'a bit of a kick' to 'Thai spicy', allowing guests to tailor their meal to their tastes.

Families are well catered-for with a 'Little Rosa's' children's menu, and food will be available for delivery, click-and-collect and takeaway.

To drink, diners at Rosa's Thai can choose from an extensive list of Thai-inspired cocktails, including Kopiko Espresso Martinis and Chilli Lageritas, as well as bubble teas, wine, Singha on tap, house 'Thai-PA' and 'Mai Mao' beers and Thai iced teas.

Located in the heart of Kingston on the high street, Rosa's Thai Kingston is set across two floors and can seat up to 110 guests.

An eye-catching red exterior opens onto the open plan restaurant, with expansive windows flooding the space with natural light.

The interiors mix neutral tones with pops of pink and red for a warm, welcoming space, while neon lighting and wall art bring touches of Bangkok café culture to Kingston.

Of the launch, Saiphin Moore said "Kingston has always held a special place in my heart.

"When I first moved to London, one of my earliest gigs was a cooking demo at a department store in Kingston, where I made Summer Rolls and Pad Thai.

"Almost 20 years later, I'm thrilled to be opening a Rosa's here and sharing all the Thai dishes I've perfected since that little demo."
