A new study by Jefferies James has ranked London's 33 boroughs in order of their 'poshness' based on the percentage of 'prime' properties they have.

To be a 'prime' property in this case, it must have asking prices of £2 million or more.

Metro writes: "Across London's 112,602 property listings, 6,822 (6.1 per cent) fall into this prestigious category, and a few spots boast an especially large proportion."

Out of the 33 boroughs, Kingston has been ranked as number 15 with 3.3 per cent of total property listings priced over £2 million.

Taking first place is Kensington and Chelsea with 32.3 per cent of its sales stock deemed prime.

At the bottom is Barking and Dagenham with 0%.

Meanwhile, next-door Richmond borough takes sixth place with 7.9 per cent of its properties falling into the 'prime' category, making it above London's average proportion of 'prime' homes.
