New National Lottery Grant will help Kingston groups affected by COVID-19

Kingston Voluntary Action have been give £100,000 to award

A new National Lottery grant has been set up to help community groups in Kingston, the council announced today.

The community fund will be available to groups in Kingston who have been affected by COVID-19.

The funds will be offered in two rounds with he first running until February 12th.

The money is there for people and groups severely affected by COVID-19.

Up to £250,000 in grants of £2,500 and £5,000 will be given out.

The eligibility criteria is as follows:

Your project must benefit people living in the Royal Borough of Kingston.

Your organisation must be one of the following:

Charitable Incorporated Organisation ("CIO")

Charitable Trust

Co-Operative Society

Community Benefit Society

Community Interest Company limited by Guarantee

Community Interest Company limited by Shares

Company limited by Guarantee

Unincorporated Association/Organisation.
