Students studying the BTEC Level 3 in 3D Design at Kingston College have successfully completed their sponsored overnight sleep out, raising an impressive £806 for Animal Rescue and Care (ARC), a Twickenham-based charity dedicated to rescuing, caring for and rehoming animals in need.
As part of the challenge, students designed and constructed their own cardboard shelters before spending the night outdoors in a fundraising event called the Big Cat Nap.
The project put their creativity, teamwork and resilience to the test while supporting a cause close to their hearts.
The fundraiser was organised to support ARC's vital work helping vulnerable animals find safe and loving homes.
Thanks to the generosity of supporters, the students not only completed the challenge but also far exceeded their original fundraising target, raising a fantastic £806 for the charity.
The Big Cat Nap provided students with a valuable opportunity to apply their design skills to a real-world project while making a positive impact in the community.
A Kingston College spokesperson said: "Congratulations to everyone involved on an outstanding achievement and thank you to all those who donated and supported the campaign."
