Europe's largest shoe retailer, Deichmann, opened its doors to a brand-new store on Thursday 8 August.
The retail giant's 1,200m2 store is located at 38 Clarence Street, Kingston upon Thames, KT1 1NR and has undergone a complete £700,000 investment.
The opening created 18 new jobs in the area, consisting of assistant and supervisor roles.
Deichmann celebrated the new opening by presenting customers with in-store offers on a select range of shoes, such as 50% off selected lines.
The Kingston store stocks a full range of footwear for everyone, including exclusive lines from brands such as Adidas, Fila, Nike, Puma and Skechers.
These come with an ongoing price promise, ensuring that customers are matched on price, or they will be refunded the difference.
Customers will also receive an additional £1 refund if they find an identical pair of branded shoes cheaper in any UK high street or online retailer.
Deichmann frequently collaborates with cutting-edge fashion designers and A-List stars.
Previous collaborations include model and influencer Leni Klum and singers Rita Ora and Ellie Goulding.
Deichmann's own brand shoes start at £4.99, with real leather products starting at £29.99.
Deichmann is a family-owned company and has been around for over 110 years.
The brand is the European footwear retail market leader with stores in 31 countries across the globe and over 130 stores in the UK.
It strives to marry fashion with quality and affordability, using a convenient 'rack-room' (help yourself) style shop layout to increase efficiencies and pass the savings onto the customer.
The fuss-free shopping experience also enables customers to browse all available styles and sizes as all styles are merchandised in their shoe boxes on the shop floor.
