A man was taken to hospital on Thursday evening (8 January) after collapsing on Adam's Walk in Kingston's town centre.

The London Ambulance service arrived at the scene while groups of locals crowded the man to ensure he was safe.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson told Nub News: "We were called at 5.38pm on Thursday 8 January to reports of a person unwell on Adams Walk, Kingston Upon Thames.

"We sent ambulance crews to the scene and treated a man before taking him to a local hospital."
