The London Fire Brigade (LFB) Kingston was called to a high-rise building on Willingham Way today, 27 August.

It was called due to smoke being released from the building.

In a post on X (formerly called Twitter), LFB Kingston stated that the incident was due to faulty electrics.

You may have seen us today around Willingham Way, Kingston. We were called to smoke issuing from a high-rise building which turned out to be faulty electrics. Incidents like this attract a significant brigade attendance to ensure we have the right resources on-hand if needed. pic.twitter.com/IIuYNS9k5G
