There will be a few road closures happening in Kingston over the next few weeks.

There'll be two road closures on Brook Street: one running from 31 August – 1 September, and one from 2 September – 4 October.

The latter closure is to allow the facilitation of pavement resurfacing.

While the works are underway, vehicular traffic including pedal cycles will be prohibited from entering, exiting or proceeding in Brook Street between its junctions with Eden Street and A307 Wheatfield Way.

An alternative route will be via Eden Street, St James Road, A307 Kingston Hall Road, A307 Wheatfield Way and vice versa.

There will also be a road closure on St James Road, starting on Monday 11 September.

This is expected to last for three months.

While the works are underway, vehicular traffic will be prohibited from entering, exiting or proceeding in St James's Road between its junctions with Eden Street and A307 Kingston Hall Road.

An alternative route will be via Eden Street, High Street, A307 Kingston Hall Road, A307 Wheatfield Way and Ashdown Road or Brook Street depending on direction.
