Kingston's Rose Theatre announces Christmas show: Beauty and the Beast 'as you've never seen it before'

THE Rose theatre in Kingston has revealed details of its exciting Christmas show Beauty and the Beast.

A twist on the classic fairytale, this new version of the 'tale as old as time' features songs, heartwarming characters, and a touch of magic.

And this year's Christmas show will be even more special than usual.

'Beauty and the Beast' was originally meant to be performed at the Rose in December 2020, but it was sadly postponed due to the pandemic .

Tickets were automatically switched to December 2021 but there are still plenty left so why not come along?

Other Christmas shows at The Rose Theatre include Twas the Nightshift Before Christmas performed by doctor turned writer Adam Kay, on 14 December.

There will also be a screening of The Muppets Christmas Carol on 16 December, and the live carols show Rose Snowball on 20 December.

Discounts for shows are available with Rose Multibuy until 30 November.

More on Beauty and the Beast at The Rose Theatre

This year's main Christmas show is a Rose Original production.

It features Amelia Kinu Muus and Stanton Wright as Beauty and the Beast.

The show was written by Ciaran McConville, with music and lyrics by Eamonn O'Dwyer and direction from Lucy Morrell.

Beauty and the Beast runs from 3 December 2021 to 3 January 2022.

There will be an audio described performance, a relaxed performance, a

BSL performance and a Captioned performance.

The show is suitable for children aged 5+ with younger ages welcome at parent discretion.
