Kingston stabbing victim named locally

The victim of a fatal stabbing in Kingston has been named locally.

The 32-year-old man was called Farhad Joseph Khalili, according to news website MyLondon.

Reporters with MyLondon have been speaking to the man's family, who say they have been left totally devastated by his death.

Surbiton Road is still closed to the public and there is a heavy police presence.

Special forensics officers have been spotted on the scene.

A murder investigation has been launched following the stabbing which happened at around 7pm last night.
