A new restaurant in Kingston is seeking the council's permission to have an outdoor seating area.
Cheatmeals, which is set to open on Fife Road soon, is "applying for a pavement license to the side of [its] shop where customers can sit and consume food".
Should the application be approved, the restaurant chain hopes that customers can use its outdoor seating area from 9am – 11pm seven days a week.

The area will include portable/moveable tables and chairs, which will be placed outside during operation hours and moved back inside the restaurant when it closes.
Residents have until 1 December to submit representations and can do so here.
Cheatmeals also recently submitted a licensing application seeking permission to operate and serve late night refreshments until 4am.
The chain dubs itself as "Your Cheat Day Destination with Branches in London and the South East" and sells "100% organic comfort food".
Cheatmeals first began in 2018.
It all started through conversations at the gym after a workout, when a group of food enthusiasts, who shared the same passion for food, came together to create mouthwatering, high quality fast food.
One that would appeal to a wide audience and be an affordable cheat meal that can be enjoyed, as part of a healthy diet.
The first ever Cheatmeal restaurant had then been launched.
It sells a variety of fast-food options, including burgers, hotdogs, and various chicken meals as well as milkshakes.
