Kingston: Planned road works taking place across the borough over the next fortnight

The next two weeks will see a number of roadworks take place which could impact your routes across the Kingston borough.

Read on to find out what areas will be affected and the roads to avoid.

Planned works

Ewell Road, Surbiton: Temporary signals outside 99, 30 January to 7 February 2023. Highway maintenance repair works.

Richmond Road, Kingston: Lane closure outside 41, 19 January to 27 January 2023. Maintenance works by Southern Gas.

Coombe Road, Kingston: Temporary signals adjacent to 15, 1 to 3 February 2023. Disconnection of old existing supply off of a 3" CI main excavating in footway and carriageway.

Portsmouth Road, Surbiton: Temporary signals outside 67, 17 to 23 january 2023. Installation of a new energy supply.

Coombe Lane West, Kingston: Temporary signals near Fitzgeorge Avenue, 23 January to 1 February 2023. Repair to leaking water main.

Traps Lane, New Waldon: Temporary signals outside 34, 19 to 24 January 2023. Repair to a leaking water service pipe.

Kingston Bridge, Westbound: Westbound cycle lane and footpath closed. Westbound cyclists are advised to use the main westbound carriageway, vehicles are prohibited from overtaking cyclists and pedestrians are advised to use the footpath on the north-side of the bridge.

Kingston bound pedestrians can use the footpath as normal on the north-side of the bridge, kingston bound cyclists can continue their journey on the eastbound cycle lane. 18 July 2022 - 17 March 2023
