Kingston Hospital’s roof undergoes ‘urgent’ repairs

Roof work is currently taking place at Kingston Hospital.
The Trust says the "urgent repairs" it's making to the Bernard Meade Wing will save energy and reduce costs.
Bosses at the hospital say the work, which is due to last until September, may affect the number of car parking spaces available at times.
The hospital is asking patients to travel to the hospital using public transport or other methods where possible.
A spokesperson for Kingston and Richmond NHS Foundation Trust said: "The planned works being carried out at Kingston Hospital include necessary repairs to the roof of Bernard Meade Wing, which will also help the Trust to save energy and reduce costs. Patients and visitors may be impacted by noise during the time that the works are taking place, and at certain times the number of car parking spaces available on the Kingston Hospital site may also be affected."
