There is some good news for those awaiting non urgent hospital procedures.

Kingston Hospital is committed to restarting these procedures 'as soon as it can'.

The news was revealed by Richmond Park MP Sarah Olney.

However, bosses say staff members are at "breaking point" physically and emotionally and will need a period of recovery.

Doctors at the site feel Covid-19 admissions during the second wave have now peaked.

As ever Nub News extends its thanks to our brilliant NHS
