The UK's highest performing schools have been revealed and Kingston has featured in the top five rankings for both the UK and London.

Within the Top 10 secondary and grammar schools in the UK of the Times' Parent Power Schools Guide 2023, The Tiffins Girls' School in Kingston was ranked a respectable fourth. Outranked only by Wilson's School, Wallington in third, Queen Elizabeth's School, Barnet in second and by The Henrietta Barnet School, Hampstead sitting top of the table.

Tiffins Girls' School located on Richmond Road, was founded in 1880 and currently has over 1,200 pupils who attend between the ages of 11 and 18. The school operates under a vision of providing 'an intellectually stimulating and outward-facing school, enabling students to flourish and contribute to society'.

The Kingston-based school saw 41 students accepted accepted to Oxbridge at the end of the 2020/21 academic year beaten only by Kings College London Maths School, with just under a third of its pupils (29%) being accepted that year, and the Henrietta Barnet School and Queen Elizabeth's School - both in Barnet - who sat a joint second with 18% of pupils making it into Oxford or Cambridge.
