Planned road works taking place across the borough this week

This week will see a number of roadworks take place which could impact your routes across the Kingston borough.

Read on to find out what areas will be affected and the roads to avoid.

Planned works

Kingston Bridge, Westbound: Westbound cycle lane and footpath closed. Westbound cyclists are advised to use the main westbound carriageway, vehicles are prohibited from overtaking cyclists and pedestrians are advised to use the footpath on the north-side of the bridge. Kingston bound pedestrians can use the footpath as normal on the north-side of the bridge, kingston bound cyclists can continue their journey on the eastbound cycle lane. 18 July 2022 - 17 March 2023

Kingston Bridge (additional): Lane closures, 18 July 2022 to 17 March 2023. Repair of defective bridge parapets, balusters, plinths and coping stones.

Canbury Passage, Kingston: Closed, ongoing to 18 February 2023. Sewer repair works by Thames Water.

Apple Grove: Works proposed (rep f/w-59802), 9 December 2022 - 13 December 2023

Arundel Road: Works in progress, new electrical connection to the development at the rear end of 66 Kenley Road, 14 November 2022 - 16 December 2022.

Avondale Avenue: Works in progress, clear blockage in the f/w, 9 December 2022 - 13 December 2022

Beaconsfield Road: Works proposed, rep f/w-59446, 9 December 2022 - 13 December 2022

Berrylands Road, Surbiton: Works in progress, remedial to rectify HA Defect, 12 December 2022 - 13 December 2022

Birkenhead Avenue: Works in progress, excavation required to carry out HV connection for new commercial development, 7 December 2022 - 16 December 2022

Bowness Crescent: Works proposed, 9 December 2022 - 13 December 2022

Brockenhurst Avenue: Works in progress, clear blockage in the f/w, 7 December 2022 - 12 December 2022

Cadogan Road: Works proposed, new water connection, 12 December 2022 - 20 December 2022

Cambridge Road: Works proposed, remove and replace electrical link box, 9 December 2022 - 15 December 2022
