A fast-food chain restaurant in Kingston's town centre is undergoing a temporary closure.

KFC, which is located on Clarence Street, has closed due to maintenance taking place onsite.

However, nearby gaming store, CEX, is still open.

Upon hearing about the news, local residents have shared their feelings about the temporary closure on social media with one jokingly complaining that they will now have to go to other restaurants, including Dallas, Morleys, Frangos, or Nandos.

Whilst the reopening date for the Kingston branch has not been released, the KFC restaurants in Surbiton and New Malden remain open.
