Kingston COVID stats: Figures in three key areas move in right direction

COVID-19 data continues to move in the right direction in Kingston.

This is crucial as schools prepare to open on March 8th - which is next Monday.

Here are the key facts:

Cases are down in the borough by 56% compared to last week.

This week Kingston had 75 cases, 97 less than the week prior.

The rolling rate of cases is now 59 per 100,000.

It was last this low in September.

Deaths are down 42% in the borough.

Four people have died after testing positive with COVID in the last 28 days in the past week.

Seven people died the week prior.

Hospital Admissions are down by a quarter.

41 people were admitted to Kingston Hospital with COVID last week compared to 55 the week before.
