SHOPS in Kingston's Bentall Centre are on a hiring spree with 10 roles at the retail complex being advertised this week.

The openings range from a Department Manager at popular clothes shop &OtherStories to a Brand Rep at Hollister.

Part time sales assistant roles are available at Zara and there are plenty of permanent jobs going, from assistant managers to supervisors - or even a Demonstrator at Vorwerk.

Last year, severalnew shops, restaurants and a 'creative meanwhile space' opened in Kingston town centre - including the new patisserie and cafe Mason & Rye in the Bentalls department store itself.

Kingston was also named the most resilient large retail centre in the UK by a retail consultancy firm.

However, the high street also struggled due to a lack of footfall and social distancing restrictions brought about by covid-19, prompting a move to online shopping - with major clothing chains closing their stores in Kingston marketplace.
