A fundraiser has been launched for a woman who 'lost everything' following a house fire on Knollmead in Tolworth on Monday (25 May).

Speaking about why she launched the fundraiser, organiser Charlotte Watts said: "Our lovely Kate Walsh has lost everything in a devastating house fire!

"We desperately want to do anything we can to help Kate get back on her feet. We are looking to raise funds to help Kate and her two children. Any amount big or small will be gratefully appreciated, thanks everyone."

According to the London Fire Brigade, half of the rear of a mid terraced house and a small part of the rear and part of the loft of a second terraced house were damaged by the fire.

The fundraiser has already raised £1,770 of its £2.6k target.

You can donate to it here.

Nub News has contacted Charlotte for more information.
