Kingston's town centre Post Office has finally re-opened in a new location.

Three months ago (April 2021) the branch left its site on Eden Street to allow redevelopment of the area, leaving many Kingston residents without a convenient branch of the Post Office to go to.

Since then, the store managers and other Kingston groups have searched for a new site in the town centre, finally finding premises in the the Bentalls Centre .

Despite taking longer than many predicted to open, the new branch is now serving customers and officially opened for business this week on Tuesday 6 July.

It is located on the lower ground floor of the Bentalls Centre on Wood Street, next to WH Smith.

Opening hours are:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday: 8am - 7pm

Thursday: 8am - 9pm

Sunday: 10am - 5pm

Have you been to the new Post Office? What are your thoughts on its location? Let us know!
