Bushy Park's Upper Lodge car park was closed off yesterday as a Netflix crew settled in to prepare for filming at Hampton Court Palace.

Two huge marquees took up most of the car park, providing facilities for support artists and a make-up area as well as parking for various production members.

Part of the car park will be closing again for filming this Saturday 5 June .

Nub News was told by an official that the series being filmed is a Netflix production called Evergreen which they described as a modern-day Grange Hill

But no TV show with this name has been listed on the film and TV database IMDB, nor on a recent list of upcoming Netflix shows released by the US streaming company.

Last month there were rumours that Netflix smash hit Bridgerton which has previously used the Palace as a filming location was filming for its second series and this week the first set photos were published in Tatler magazine .

This sparked theories that the massive film crew spotted at Hampton Court Palace in early May 2021 was filming for the series, but these have not been confirmed.
